FATHERS spend more on books and revision guides than mothers, but less time helping their children with homework unless a computer is involved, according to a survey for AngliaCampus. It found that parents are keen to help children with homework and are becoming increasingly reliant on computer-based resources. However, fathers with PCs and Net access at home are twice as likely to be the main parent involved in children’s home learning as those with no ICT resource.
