Nearly nine out of 10 teachers and lecturers believe that the new Diploma in Hospitality gives 14 to 19-year-olds a good grounding in the industry. Three out of five described the diploma as a robust qualification although only half of respondents thought it was pitched at the right level for their students, according to a survey by the sector skills council for the hospitality sector, People 1st.
