Humanism but no superstition

If pupils are taught about humanism in the new RE framework they will learn how to live an ethical life without religious or superstitious beliefs.

They will also learn to think for themselves, develop values and make their decisions based on reason rather than superstition. This has to be a positive and enlightened move.
