The Humanities Association is holding its annual conference at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley, November 29-December 1, fee Pounds 125 residential, Pounds 50 Saturday only. Speakers include: Gillian Symons, consultant, World Wide Fund for Nature; and David Hicks, principal lecturer in geography and environmental education, De Montfort University. In addition, the Manchester Development Education Project is running workshops for key stages 1 and 2 on Kenya and Mali.
