Timeliner, a science awareness project for young people, is being run by Hull University. The Orpheus with its 2,000 passengers and crew has gone missing somewhere in the Ice Age. Their mission is to find the timeliner and save the Earth of now and the future from “the wave of contingent change”. The project, which has categories for senior and junior groups, emphasises the earth and biological sciences as they relate to the evolution of our species. Participants have until February to complete their work. Details: Jim Dumsday, tel: 01482 466236.
