Websites

Religious Education Exchange Service from St Martin’s College, Lancaster http:re-xs.ucsm.ac.uk is a cheerful looking site and a portal to many of the best websites and support materials for RE teachers.

The RE Site www.theresite.org.uk

Supported by Culham College Institute, this provides a way in to a huge number of other links and resources, as well as having its own content. A particularly useful section is the RE Directory (also available as a book from Culham College) that lists dozens of organisations, groups and faith communities of interest to RE teachers. All the sites found by the search engine on this site are catalogued by key stage and all have been checked for suitability by the site’s authors.

The GCSE RE site

www.paulhopkins.org.ukre is used by lots of of RE departments. It provides support materials for GCSE, and it’s a good reference site for less specialist teachers.

Culham College Institute www.culham.ac.uk

The Institute produces a wealth of RE resources, many available online. There’s a link to the early years material that features the puppet characters Dottie and Buzz, who have their own site at www.dottieandbuzz.
