After some years fighting for a nursery at this school and being refused on the grounds of cost (too much), it’s a bit galling to hear that Bass the brewers are employing nursery nurses in their pubs which have recently been licensed for use by children.
On the other hand, if we pushed a couple of tables together in the playgroup room, got the canteen to run a line in toasted sandwiches and the secretary wore that low-cut blouse . . .
There have been very much stranger ideas in education, haven’t there?
