Contemporary illustrators are to have their work displayed alongside classic children’s illustrations from the past. The winners of the annual illustration awards will have their work shown at the Victoria and Albert museum, in London, from December 7 to April 30. The VA’s collection includes original work by John Tenniel, who illustrated for Alice in Wonderland, and EH Shepard, who provided the drawings for Winnie-the-Pooh.
