Visual Paths: Teaching Literacy in the Gallery was a three-year project at Tate Britain and 10 London primary schools which encouraged children to express their interpretation of images on display at Tate Britain, Millbank, London SW1. It was developed by Tate in partnership with the Institute of Education, London University, funded by Morgan Stanley. The research report, teaching approaches and learning resources used will provide a national example for developments in literacy teaching.
