CO-OPYAMAHA MUSIC BURSARIES SCHEME. As part of the Music for Schools shopper voucher scheme, the Co-op and Yamaha are urging schools to apply, by November 18, for bursaries of up to Pounds 500, which can be used to obtain instruments from cymbals to cellos, sitars to synthesisers. To apply, teachers should write to Co-op Music for Schools, PO Box 99, Eccles, Greater Manchester M30 7HX, explaining in up to 300 words why their school has a special need.
