ADVISORY PANEL ONCHILDREN’S VIEWING

The British Board of Film Classification is seeking people from various backgrounds, for example, teachers, local authority personnel concerned with children’s issues and psychologists, to serve on this 11-strong panel. Members are also sought from among those who write, direct or produce work for children. They will not be paid but expenses will becovered. Details: 0171 439 7961.

HELPLINE FOR STAMMERERS

A national helpline offering counselling and advice to people who stammer has been set up by the British Stammering Association on 0845 603 2001, and will be staffed every weekday from 10am to 4pm. Calls are charged at local rates.
