* Planet Europe, three programmes from the Central Bureau for Educational Visits originally broadcast in April, will be aired again on BBC2‘s Learning Zone in the autumn. “Studying abroad with Erasmus” on September 24 shows how young British people on the Erasmus scheme are improving their language skills and employability. “Making friends” on October 1 demonstrates how two UK schools have set up exchange programmes with Sweden and Spain and another has established video-conferencing and e-mail links with schools in Belgium, Finland and Germany. “Having a voice”, October 1, follows three Year 12 students through France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany finding out more about the European Union from MEPs, journalists and lobbyists.
