Innovative seating plan invitation;Letter

MOST primary teachers organise their classrooms with children seated in groups of four to eight, although research evidence suggests that this is not the most effective arrangement for all activities. Indeed, a horseshoe is recommended for the numeracy hour.

As part of a research programme I invite any primary teachers who regularly use different seating arrangements for different activities to contact me.
