POLICE are investigating claims that parents have been drug-dealing in a primary school playground.

John Keenan, headteacher of St James’ primary school, in Renfrew, near Glasgow, contacted police two weeks ago afte other parents raised the alarm.

Security measures at the school have been stepped up and the two people at the centre of the allegations have been banned from the school grounds while inquiries continue.
