It’s the free website where you will probably find all you need to get started with an - and some. Despite the title, SMART Education, there are useful resources here for users of all interactive whiteboards, not just SMART Boards. For example, the site’s creator, Canterbury Christ Church University College, provides links to subject sites that can be used directly in class. And if you register you get a lot more. (SMART’s own website for teacher resources is at http:edcompass.smarttech.com

* Promethean, another leading whiteboard supplier, is working with the University of Hull on a research project (REVIEW) to uncover good practice in whiteboard use. They are running a competition for good ideas for using whiteboards - it could be a useful resource or technique. The best idea submitted before June 30 gets a prize.
