FErret’s campaign to change the world of lifelong learning has been marked by an early victory, after I grumbled about the lack of information about bite-sized courses in my native Suffolk.
The county now has a full list of courses on the national website at www.bitesizecoursefinder.info.
And a bottle of champagne is winging it way to one of my lucky readers after the Learning and Skills Council added some content (of sorts) to the adults’ and young people’s channels of its website www.lsc.gov.uk.
I offered the bubbly in October to whoever made the best guess as to when these channels would get some content. Well done Roz Peters. Her prediction that it would take until December 12, 2003, turned out to be the closest guess.
