The Platform arts centre at the Bridge in Easterhouse, Glasgow, is the venue on September 10 for a 1pm performance of Shadow of a Pie, the new touring production from Lung Ha’s Theatre Company.

The Edinburgh-based company was formed in 1984 to provide performing arts opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. This latest work, billed as a “wild, rock ‘n’ roll romantic comedy”, is one of almost 30 original stage productions from the company in the past 22 years.

Shadow of a Pie centres on main characters Tallulah and Buck, with the action taking place at a club where a “dangerous double booking” of Sixties chart toppers The Shadows and punk rock group The Mince Pie Bashers looks set to bring about a night to remember.
