Two unions, the Transport and General Workers and the General Municipal Boilermakers, have pulled out of a rally to be held in Glasgow tomorrow (Saturday) to protest about the transfer of up to 1,200 cleaning, catering and janitorial jobs to the private sector under the city council's capital investment plans for secondary schools. Unison and the Educational Institute of Scotland are going ahead.
