A campaign group plans to lobby the Assembly government to ensure careers education does not get squeezed out of the curriculum as part of any local authority cuts. The Institute of Career Guidance’s CREATE campaign aims to highlight the importance of quality jobs advice and information. A recent survey showed that 94 per cent of Year 11 pupils felt well prepared to choose their career options after attending a guidance interview with Careers Wales.
