Jobless NQTs on the rise in Scotland

Only one in five new teachers in Scotland found permanent, full-time jobs after qualifying in 200910, figures released by the General Teaching Council for Scotland show. The annual survey also revealed that the percentage of NQTs with no job at all has risen from 13.5 per cent to 16.2 per cent.
