The publishers of Jolly Phonics are launching a new book aimed at foundation stage pupils. Jolly Stories introduces the ABC to nursery and reception pupils phonically, teaching them the 42 letter sounds of the English language. There are also a number of simple words for reading and spelling, introduced through one-page stories. Jolly Phonics is now used in 68 per cent of British primaries.
