The magazine is intended for use as resource material and makes special reference to the national curriculum. The layout of Stonehenge, for example, can be used to teach mathematics. Archaeological landscapes show record river erosions and prehistoric boundary markers in the form of rock art and can be used in the teaching of geography.
This year a first for the club will be a junior archaeologists’ holiday in Cornwall, a two-week course which is expected to be both stimulating and demanding.
