Having received such generous coverage of our research into how small businesses get and use information about education and training (“Untapped benefits of business courses”, TES, May 23), it might appear churlish to mention one omission. Nevertheless, it should be pointed out that the work could not have been undertaken at all without the sponsorship of the EDEXCEL Foundation, which also co-published the headline findings with the National Institute of Adult and Continuing Education for Adult Learners Week.
