A six-session course for newly qualified primary teachers starts at the Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1, on January 28. The other dates are February 4, 11 and 25 and March 4 and 11. Topics include classroom management, planning for differentiated learning, special needs, ICT and assessment and record-keeping.
