Posters featuring great design are an easy way to inspire design and technology students. One from the Cheshire campus of Manchester Metropolitan University, for example, features metal giftware, high tech lighting arrangements, rehabilitation bike balances and a gaudy ornamental waistcoat. These are a good advertisement for a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, but will also give GCSE students ideas.
