David: The best day was going to the Science Centre with my dad and his friends. I got to learn a lot of stuff about science, like what was that thing called? It’s been a long summer holiday.

Louise: I went to my friend’s and we did gymnastics. I really liked it.

Sahana: My favourite day was going to see my baby cousin. He’s just one. He’s cute. I couldn’t go to dance class, so on Saturday I just went to Tesco. That was fun. I don’t know why.

Louise: I went to the park. There’s this thing and you go on it and you can bounce up and down as well. And I went to see my baby cousin, `cos he hurt his finger. He jammed it. He had a big, ginormous bandage. Now he has a wee tiny one on his pinky.

Sahana: We all stayed in Glasgow for the holidays. My dad thought we could go to India like last time, but we couldn’t go because of a new baby born. That’s my baby cousin. My big brother hasn’t seen the baby yet. Ever. He always likes staying at home playing on his computer. That’s it. He just pretends he’s working, but every time I’m not there, he’s just playing games.

David: In the holidays, I saw Courtney from my class when I was in the taxi with my dad going to the Science Centre.

Louise: My friend came to my wee bit and we played on my bike.

Sahana: I saw one of the teachers in the city. That was weird. She was just talking to somebody.

David: The weather during the holidays could have been better, because nearly every single day it was raining. We only got like five days of sunny weather.

Louise: I got more days. But even if it’s raining I go out. My friend went to lie down in a puddle. I went to my friend’s house, and when I went in the car and when I got out it started raining and when I got in the car it stopped raining, and when I got out again, it started again.

David: I think the rain doesn’t like you.

Louise: I’ve been trying to sneak out.

David: In the Science Centre, there was a Jedi and Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers. I love Star Wars.

Louise: I went to the Science Centre once, OK, and there was this mirror, OK, and there was a person who was so smiley there, and then when you looked in the mirror, it showed the reflect, and then it looked sad.

David: I saw that bit.

Louise: It was spooky. I was like, I want to get out of here.
