(Photograph) - ore than 100 local children from schools in Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot and Bridgend opened the Eisteddfod’s Saturday night concert with their production of Halen Yn Y Gwaed, which has been produced by Theatre in Education company Theatr Na N’Og. The Children’s PageantPasiant Y Plant, which has its 25th anniversary next year, enables local children to celebrate their cultural heritage in one of the largest auditoria in Europe, in front of an international audience. This year’s production was an adaptation of the swashbuckling adventure Stowaway. Pupils from bilingual primary schools rehearsed for the event for more than three months. Photograph by KEN DICKINSON
