Last year’s Dudley Children’s Literary Festival clashed with the Rugby World Cup final but still pulled in 650 children and parents. There may be some tickets left for this year’s event on November 12 at The Earls high school, Halesowen. The programme has a strong line-up of teenage-friendly authors in the afternoon: Paul Bajoria, Ben Jeapes and Kevin Brooks, following Jeremy Strong and Simon James for primary pupils in the morning.
