Science and art are best, that's when we make things. In science, we made little parachutes with a cube on the end. They were made from different materials and we had to time how long they took to land. Mine was made out of a plastic bag and took until we had counted to four. My friend's was made from a really heavy material and didn't take very long at all. I also like painting and my fireworks picture is up on the wall. We put lots of paint on to a brush and then tapped it. Afterwards, I was covered in paint, so it was a good job I had my apron on.

I like the symbols and the myths that I learn in Greek lessons. The teacher gave us a copy of the Greek alphabet - the letter Q looks like a snake. The best bit is the myths. They help to explain things that happened and they are half true and half made up. I like the myth about the Minotaur. The Minotaur is half-man and half-bull. There was an evil king who gave six men and six women to the Minotaur for him to eat. A Greek prince fights the Minotaur with a rope and a dagger and kills it by twisting its horn.
I'll never hate Greek lessons because all the myths are really good. When I'm old, I'll tell my children the stories about the Greeks.

I always beat everyone else in maths. I like doing plus and take-away sums. Sums are good because you put the lines together and get the right answers. I can do them in my head, but my teacher thinks I'm not doing any work if I do that in class. My teacher is very strict and doesn't let me get away with anything. I know my times tables and we get tested before lunch. I practise them with my sisters at home and I've only ever got one wrong once.
