Learning a foreign language

Learning a foreign language is challenging enough; not being able to see the dictionary makes it harder. The popular Easy Learning Dictionaries from Collins are now available in an enlarged print format (18 point type) from the Royal National Institute for the Blind. Versions of French, German and Spanish dictionaries are available, covering vocabulary up toGCSE. Different fonts make it easy to see the structure of related meanings within each entry.

The dictionaries (two-volume sets at pound;23.99 each) are available from RNIB, PO Box 173, Peterborough PE2 6WS. Tel: 0845 7023153 (customer services) and 01733 370777 (enquiries). Fax: 01733 371555. Email: cservices@rnib.org.ukWebsite: www.rnib.org.uk
