Reuben Feuerstein, the Israeli educationist working with the Glasgow-based Tapestry organisation, was being introduced as a speaker at a conference on dyslexia.
“Feuer Reubenstein,” the greeting rang out.
“Now I know I’m in the right place,” the great man observed.
