The rattle of trolleys ferrying goods and chattels of the Scottish Further Education Unit from its Jordanhill base rather disrupted the proceedings of the Scottish Association for Educational Management and Administration last week.
The noise of this management of change prompted Michael Leech, the association’s chairman and principal of Stevenson College in Edinburgh, to remind the audience the unit was moving to Stirling.
“I forget whose constituency that is,” Leech added innocently.
