Youngsters in Leeds have no excuse for handing in homework late now that all the city’s libraries, museums and schools are connected to one network. The Leeds Learning Network means all pupils have email addresses they can use to send homework totheir teachers. This ambitious local government project, which includes five City Learning Centres, aims to promote lifelong learning in the city. There are even plans to wire up hospitals and nursing homes.
