Congratulations to Lee Probert, who at the tender age of 24 is the Learning and Skills Council’s youngest director ever appointed. He will be responsible for equality and diversity.

Lee isn’t currently being allowed to give interviews out of earshot of his masters at the LSC’s Coventry HQ but, in a prepared statement, says: “One of the challenges I plan to undertake is to ensure that, through our equality and diversity strategies, everybody is included and that we continue to engage with hard-to-reach people.”

Good to see you have picked up the lingo, Lee. You’ll go far.
