Legacy of training is frustration

I support Paul Kelley’s belief (Online magazine, TES, February 8) that lottery funding would have been far better used to provide computers for teachers to enhance their own skills.

The inconsistencies of training is an area that Richard Hill (the New Opportunities Fund’s head of policy and research) would be well-advised to research! He may then find that there are many teachers who gained little from NOF’s training schemes - apart from a certificate and a sense of frustration, that has left them still unable to integrate technology into the curriculum effectively.
