In TES’ comment section, you do my profession a disservice by including writers who run it down. I am a deputy head who enjoys his job, sees the new Ofsted criteria as a challenge and the academy debate as a logical next step to allow teachers to make decisions for their schools and communities. I work hard to move my school and staff forward in a supportive and innovative way - but this doesn’t appear to be the tone of TES.
