HUMANISTS will next week urge every school to provide a quiet room where pupils of different faiths can go to worship. They are concerned that pupils of minority faiths and no faith are discriminated against. The British Humanist Association also wants an end to state funding of religious schools and says school assemblies should reflect on moral questions, rather than being faith-based.
