Ranvir Singh was “astonished” that Kay Stead proposed that Sikh gurus should mark examination papers. Frankly, so am I, and I happen to be Kay Stead!
Obviously Mr Singh is mistaken - I have looked at the letter he refers to and have found no such proposal.
I would be grateful if you would make this clear to your readers, lest my secular humanist friends start to get the wrong idea about me!
