Letters extra : Budget of pound;5 per child

At my last school, where I was employed as Humanities Co-ordinator, I had a budget for History and Geography which in a school of four hundred plus pupils gave me just pound;5 on each child to spend over their Primary school days. The Humanities truly are the `Cinderella’ subjects of our state education system and church schools. Are there any rules as to minimum funding per pupil for each National Curriculum subject?
