Letters extra: nursery nurses overlooked

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/letters-extra-nursery-nurses-overlooked

We are two hard working nursery nurses, who work alongside teachers and other support staff as a team. We contribute time and effort, sharing responsibility and work load.

As you are aware, teachers are now able to go through the threshold and support staff have been regraded. We feel we are being overlooked, why is this the case?

We want to make people aware of our job responsibilities and be recognised for them, so reluctantly we would be prepared to take industrial action if necessary
