J.G. Little et al’s letter with its snappy beginning, interesting and engaging middle section and succinct conclusion (TES, 2 January) argues that tripartite lesson plans are a “strait-jacket for creativity”.
Many TES readers drive a car, some live and work in cities. Whilst we all make different journeys for various purposes, the possession and use of a road atlas and an A to Z guide enhances rather than constrains successful navigation.
