A-levels off the mark

More than half of A-level students have their futures skewed by their teachers’ grade predictions, which turn out to be far off the mark, a new study by researchers at the University of Portsmouth has found. The experts found students predicted high grades in England and Wales do not manage to reach the high expectations of their teachers, and students given low grade predictions generally do better than expected.
