A teacher from Manchester is feared drowned after he was swept into the sea off South Africa when he dived in to save a group of teenagers. Sean Foxcroft, 24, a lifeguard, had been leading a team of 15 students aged 16-18 on a trip organised by the group World Challenge. He had been supervising a rugby match on a beach north of Durban on Sunday when some of the students went into the sea to cool off and were dragged out of their depth by undercurrents.
