The two funding councils for further and higher education have joined forces with Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to draw up a blueprint for getting the Government’s lifelong learning policies off the dawing board. The four have set up a working group chaired by Janet Lowe, principal of Lauder College and a member of the Scottish Enterprise board. It will present “action points” for each organisation in September.
