Four sixth-year pupils at a Glasgow secondary decided to travel to the senior ball at the Moat House Hotel in style. They hired a limo in the hope of impressing their peers.

But the luxury conveyance had tinted windows and, since these are clearly a common sight within spitting distance of the City Chambers, nobody noticed them.
