A NEW on-line service offering teachers training in everything from behaviour management to sports psychology is going live from June.
The @key Training Agency site will list experts who can meet different training needs. Users will be able to book their services on-line.
The website is the brainchild of teacher Denise Inwood, who works part-time at a Surrey secondary school. She came up with the idea last November after a member ofstaff struggled to find training to improve her speaking skills.
Ms Inwood said: “Once we had identified the need, it was difficult to find the appropriate training.”
Brochures have already been sent to schools to gauge interest. Ms Inwoood said: “Feedback has been very good.”
The agency will be financed by taking a small percentage of the trainer’s fee. Further information can be found on the web at www.atkey.co.uk
