ActionAid’s World Wide Web site at http:oneworld.orgactionaid combines detailed text, colourful photographs, maps and graphics on Third World life and the work of the charity.

It includes access to the charity’s school educational materials such as the award-winning Discovering India CD-Rom, and insights into such projects as the erection of a school-cum-cyclone shelter on Dhal Char island in Bangladesh and how it helps people live with the extreme conditions caused by cyclones and floods.
