SAY NO to Selection has not “registered” with the Electoral Reform Ballot Services (TES October 1). Five campaigns have and have started trying to collect signatures on petitions. It is an insult to campaigners in these areas to imply they are being organised by the Campaign for State Education.

CASE’s campaign was launched last year to support and encourage local campaigns. A website www.mandolin.demon. co.uksayno and campaign pack provide information.
