The Lambeth Connected Learning Project received a multi-million pound shot in the arm last month when the Government approved a pound;20 million Lambeth Council private finance initiative to upgrade ICT in local schools (including using laptops for curriculum work). Only a fifth of the bidding authorities were successful and Lambeth’s was the largest bid. Lambeth Connected Learning Project, which serves 7,456 pupils and 481 teachers, will also receive funding from the Lambeth eLearning Foundation.
