It’s getting harder to find what you need on the Internet these days. Ivan Lewis, minister for skills and vocational education is one individual whose progress up the greasy pole of politics is hard to keep track of. A search engine digs up a biography of the Bury MP which, alongside a misleadingly young-looking mugshot, says: “Most recently Mr Lewis has been appointed as PPS to Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, Stephen Byers MP.”
